About Big Sky
Big Sky is located on the Lone Peak in picturesque Montana. Enjoy skiing how it was
meant to be. Big Sky is a huge mountain experience with plenty of terrain for every skill
level from beginner to expert. And with over 400 inches of snow annually, there is no
shortage of the white stuff. March is powder season and you will get everything from soft
groomed slopes to back country powder.
Big Sky has 29 lifts, serving over 300 trails, a 4,350 feet vertical drop and it is spread
across 5,800 acres. Trail difficulty: 15% beginner, 24% intermediate and 43% advanced
and 18% expert. Having taken over Moonlight Basin, Big Sky is now the LARGEST
resort in the United States of America and has the BIGGEST vertical.
Big Sky Montana Mountain Village is located at the base of Lone Peak. It is close to
Yellowstone National Park and Day Trips are available. Most important, Big Sky features
perfect conditions in March and no lift lines. So come and join us
