RE: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST –Tender NO. MoLHUD/05/2014-2015
NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL DATABASE
The Department of Surveys under the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development
seeks to invite expressions of interest from suppliers who can provide software, Hardware
and services to satisfy:
1. Office-based staff access to geospatial information faster, economically and with
minimal training from their current desktop using browser based technology,
2. A National geospatial database to store, access, manipulate and display location based
information,
3. Interactive map-based information to the government agencies and to the public from
its web site
Interested suppliers should provide information demonstrating that they have the required
qualifications and relevant experience to perform.

Completed Expression of interest can be submitted on-line or be enclosed in plain sealed
envelopes, marked with the Expresion of interest for provision of National Geospatial
Database and tender number and be deposited in the tender box provided at Ministry, 12th
Floor, Ardhi House- Nairobi or be posted to

1.6 Expression of interest will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the
tenderers representatives who choose to attend the opening at 12th Floor Board Room,
Ardhi House.
