Call to Worship (Responsive)
Leader: Sing to the Lord and bless God’s name.

Leader: Let us worship God!

O Worship the Lord
Dan Forrest
Lord of the Small
[Chancel Choir]
Praise to the Lord of the small, broken things, who sees the poor sparrow that cannot take wing,
Who loves the lame child, and the wretch in the street, who comforts their sorrows and washes
their feet.
Praise to the Lord of the faint and afraid, who girds them with courage and lends them His aid;
He pours out His Spirit on vessels so weak that the timid can serve and the silent can speak.
Praise to the Lord of the frail and the ill, who heals their afflictions, or carries them till they
leave this tired frame and to paradise fly. To never be sick and never to die.
Praise Him, o praise Him, all ye who yet live, who’ve given so much and can so little give,
Our frail, lisping praise God will never despise: He sees His dear children through mercy-filled eyes.
Time with the Children
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will
be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us
our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Dismissal of the Children [Preschool thru Second Grade] for Second Session
Sacrament of Holy Baptism [Valarie Alise Holzwarth and Sean Richard Holzwarth]
(Please note that our church policy prohibits the use of Flash Photography
during the worship service. Video cameras are restricted to natural light, and
must be on tripods at the rear or side aisles of the Sanctuary. The Pastor will
be available following the service for any pictures you would like to take.)

Anthem Note
In memoriam: Erin Buenger was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at the age of five. During
the next seven years, she endured chemotherapy, surgery, two stem cell transplants, radiation
and eight experimental tumor vaccines. Her various treatments never dampened her
enthusiasm for life. She took horseback riding lessons and played competitive soccer and
softball. She sang in her church children’s choir, was an honor student, and served on student
council. In her final years she became a zealous and successful Congressional lobbyist on
Capitol Hill and designed glass lanyards to raise money for the Children’s Neuroblastoma
Cancer Foundation. Some flames burn long yet dim. Others burn quickly but, in spite of their
brevity, burn all the more brightly. May we all live as Erin did: to the glory of God. WE WELCOME ALL FIRST TIME WORSHIPERS
TO THIS SERVICE. Hamilton Presbyterian Church is
a community of faithful Christians who love Jesus,
praise God, and care for others. You are invited to join
us in ministry and service.
