Research Fellow to work in the DBT funded project
under the supervision of Prof. A. Ganapathi, UGC-BSR
Faculty, Principal Investigator, Department of
Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli 620 024. Tenure of
the post is for three years (purely temporary).
Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech. (Biotechnology/Life
Sciences/M.Sc. Botany) with two years research
experience in Plant Tissue Culture and Genetic
Engineering.
Emoluments: Rs 16,800 p.m. Eligible candidates may
apply on plain paper with bio-data containing complete
information on qualification and experience, supported
by duly attested copies of certificates to Principal
Investigator. The application should reach The
Principal Investigator on or before 5 November

candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will
be paid for attending the interview. The selected
candidate can register for Ph.D. programme.

A Walk-in-Interview will be held at this Institute
on 3 November 2014 at 10:00 hrs for selection of
a suitable candidates for the positions of Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the project
titled ‘Spatial distribution of uranium and
associated water quality parameters in three
districts of Maharashtra (Pune, Ahmednagar,
Satara)’. The position is temporary for a period of
two year (24 months).

does not confer on the Fellows, any right for
absorption in DIAT (DU), Pune.

the theme ‘Science and the Zero Hunger
Challenge’. This is jointly organized by Acharya
