This fourth week is dedicated to the elderly and the sick. Read the pamphlet entitled “Come Celebrate the Gift of Life”, which was distributed earlier this month. Inform yourself as to the teachings of the Church on the subjects of euthanasia and assisted suicide. Talk about these issues with others. Help someone who is elderly and let them know that they are a valued member of your community. Pray for those who are elderly, sick or suffering. Holy Trinity Renovation--Fundraising Campaign! So far about $33,600 of our $50,000 goal has been donated to the parish renovation project. Please note that next weekend, Nov. 2, there is a special collection envelope in your boxes designated as "Major Church Repairs". This is an opportunity to contribute to our renovation project. Your contributions should be designated for Holy Trinity Parish Building Fund. Thank you for your generosity! Catholic Engaged Encounter Weekend Dates Getting married? Archdiocese of Regina Annual Appeal 2014 The Archdiocese of Regina would like to offer its sincere thanks to all those who have already reached out to care for their neighbors through their contributions to the Archdiocesan Annual Appeal. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to take this time to prayerfully consider your contribution for this year. Giving to the Archdiocesan Annual Appeal is more than an act of charity, it is a spiritual sacrifice that can heal and strengthen our relationship with Christ and our neighbor. Your gift has the potential to transform the lives of others in need of companionship and prayer through our hospital chaplaincy programs, a strengthening of faith through adult and youth faith formation, and the myriad of social concerns that prevent our friends and neighbors from experiencing the abundant life and love of Christ. Your commitment to the future is a commitment to the furthering of the mission of Christ in your own life as well as in the lives of others. Let your support of the Archdiocesan Annual Appeal be a well-discerned, and responsible act of sacrificial praise, service and worship. To date Holy Trinity has raised $12,505 of its $62,300 goal.
