Only those athletes can participate the World Cup who belongs to a (Legal Entity) officially registered sports Clubs, Associations or National Federations, Committees. They Legal Entity are fully responsible for entering their athletes within the deadline. 2. The Clubs, Associations, National Federations or Committees can enter maximum of 2 athletes per weight category for seniors and a maximum 3 competitors per weight category in Veteran classes. 3. Each competitor must have valid Insurance Party that can cover the related injury and medical costs if any. An accident that happened during the competition, either he/she or his/her Legal Entity will be entitled to bear the related costs. 4. Each senior competitor must be 20 or older. Competitors aged 18 and 19 are allowed to participate upon presentation of a medical certificate. 5. Each Veteran-A competitor must be 35 - 45 years old (born between 1969-1979), each Veteran-B competitor must be 46-56 years old (born between 1958-1968). Age and nationality will be checked with the passport / ID card at the weigh-in. 6. Each contestant deemed to be taking part of his/her owns free will, responsible for him/her, shall be allowed to compete in only one weight category: the one corresponding to his weight at the time of the official weigh-in. 7. The delegations in need of a visa to enter Hungary must send their visa application forms to valerpapp@gmail.com before 30 July 2014. The organizer will take care of sending official invitation letters to the Hungarian consular representation in their country of residence. 8. Preliminary entries must be sent to valerpapp@gmail.com before 30 July 2014. 9. Final entries must be sent to valerpapp@gmail.com before 19 September 2014. 10. The final list of competitors must be confirmed to the competition secretariat till 9:00 the day of the World Cup in order to ensure a smooth weigh-in and draw procedure. 11. The delegations will benefit from a full accommodation package from the organizer (including board, lodging and entry to the championship) of 90 EUR per day (in Four Points by Sheraton****), 80 EUR per day (in Sport Hotel***). The official hotels are both located within walking distance from the competition venue and offer different standards of accommodation. Upon agreement with the organizer, it will be possible for the delegations to transfer the total amount of accommodation fees to the organizer’s account. Otherwise, the team leaders will have to settle their financial obligations cash at accreditation. 12. The organizer will take care of booking the rooms for the delegations benefitting from the accommodation package. 13. The delegations wishing to book their own hotel and take care of their local transport and food will be required to pay an entry fee of 40 EUR per competitor, to the organizer, payable cash at accreditation. 14. Those athletes that will be competing and registered for the FILA - World Pankration Championship 2014. the registration is free of charge. 15. To hold a FILA license is not required for the World Cup. 16. The delegations requests Airport transfer from Budapest to Kecskemét will be welcomed by the organising Committee upon their arrival in Budapest, Liszt Ferenc International Airport and will be driven to the hotel to proceed with accreditation. The transfer costs are 40EUR/person back and force (one way 20EUR), payable cash at accreditation. 2 TECHNICAL CONDITIONS 1. The competition will be run according to the rules in the attachment on 3 FILA approved mats. 2. The competition will take place in the official weight categories and no weight allowance will be accepted: Senior age groups: Men -57, -62, -66, -71, -77, -84, -92, -100, +100 kg Women -53, -58, -64, -71, +71 kg Veteran A/B age groups: Men -62, -66, -71, -77, -84, -92, -100, +100 kg Women -53, -58, -64, -71, +71 kg 3. Each competitor will be requested to undergo a medical examination before the official weighin, during which his/her competition uniforms will be inspected for compliance as well. 4. The drawing of lots for position in the brackets will be done manually at the time of weigh-in. 5. Competitors who forfeit a match without proper medical certificate will not be allowed to proceed throughout the tournament and will be withdrawn from the final ranking. 6. The FILA license not covers medical assistance to the competitors in this event of an accident occurring during the competition. If a competitor wishes to have a medical examination or receive a treatment that is not linked to an accident that happened during the competition, either he/she or his/her Legal Entity will be entitled to bear the related costs. 7. The Gi Submission Fight rules is same as the FILA Pankration Submission rules only exceptions the uniforms and the intentional grabbing of competition uniform is valid techniques in Gi Submission and not penalized. 8. Each competitor will be required to wear the good quality competition uniform complying with the regulations. Competition Uniform – Gi The first athlete called shall appear on the edge of the mat wearing a white Gi and the second grappler called a blue or black Gi. The Gi must be made of cotton or similar material and in good condition. It may not be unusually thick or stiff to the point of obstructing the opponent. The jacket must be longer than the hips, but no longer than the thighs. When extending the arms forward, the distance between the sleeves and the wrists must not exceed 5 cm. The pants must be of proper size and reach to the ankles in upright position. The pants may not be unusually tight or loose to the point of affecting the opponent’s ability to make holds or move. The belt shall be tied tight around the waist to secure the jacket. Women may wear a rashguard of the assigned white and blue/black colour, or of any other neutral colour, underneath their Gi. 9. Individual prizes will be given to each weight category: st 1 gold medal, certificate nd 1 silver medal, certificate 1 place 2 place rd 3 places th th 5 –10 places 2 bronze medals, certificates certificates 10. The organizer will conduct random anti-doping test among the gold medalists. The categories concerned will be selected and publicly announced at the end of the weigh-in. The laboratory used to analyses these tests will be IOC/WADA approved. The procedure for undertaking the tests and transporting the samples to the laboratory is laid down in WADA`s Anti-Doping Code. REFEREES 1. Only certified referees may work in the competition. 2. All referees must wear black flat-front pants, black sport shoes, and black shirt. 3. All referees must attend the referees’ course preceding the competition. 3 COACHES Only one coach is allowed to the competitors’ corner. The coaches must wear their team tracksuit when performing their match duties and abide by the International Code of Conduct at all times. OFFICIAL CEREMONIES 1. The team leaders must confirm their country’s national anthem at the time of accreditation in order to avoid any unpleasant situation at the time of the award ceremonies. st rd 2. The national flags of the countries whose athletes and teams obtained 1 – 3 places will be hoisted once the medals have been awarded. 3.
