Notes :1. While using ESS portal always ensure that pop-up blocker is
turned off as some functionalities in ESS-MSS portal open in
new window.
 ESS – Employee Self Service
 MSS – Manager Self Service
For First Time Portal User
Click on
“First Time
Portal User”
under
Internet
User
Complete the Page below
Enter following values in the given fields:User ID - Enter your PSNO as user ID
Old Password - Enter your system password, which is @lntPSNo.
e.g. if PS No. is 12345 system password is @lnt12345
New Password - Please enter new password of your choice
(Note: Password length must be minimum 8 Characters and
should contain atleast 1 Numeric and 1 Special Character[@ or .]
Value, for e.g. pass@word1 or password.123)
Confirm new password - Please re-enter your new password
again & click on OK.
In case of Forgot Password
Enter following values in the above fields:User ID - Enter your PSNO as User ID
Date of Birth - Pl. select month, day of your birth from respective
dropdown and type year of your birth in YYYY format in field ‘Year’
Then click on ‘OK’ . You will receive email containing your new
password in your email box.
Tier - 2
Accessing Self Review Form
Tier-2 staff members
1. Click on “PMS” Tab in Employee Self Service Menu
2. Click on “Appraisal Folder” under L&T PMS Menu
3. Select Blue Square (Appearing before “2010”)
4. When box turns to Orange, Click on Process Selected
5. KVD & MTR details will appear on the screen. Complete
Actual Achievement against each Value Driver
6. Click on Save as Draft
7. Click on Self Review / Appraisal and complete Self Review

Select “BLUE” Square
3. Click on
Blue Square
When box turns to “ORANGE” click on
“Process Selected”

Complete Achievement details in KVD
page and Click on Save as Draft

Click on Submit to IS

4. Click on Initiate Objective Setting Form
5. Type 2010 and press Enter
6. Complete Self Review and submit to IS
