Apparently, the universe conspires against them, and anything that could go wrong or awry does. Page 4 WEEKLY COLLECTIONS Just a reminder that in the event of poor weather or if you are sick and do not attend mass, please submit your weekly envelope the following week, or send it to the rectory, since we need to pay our bills. We also ask you lucky snowbirds to remember that your parish is alive and active all year round so please don’t forget about us when you are gone. Keeping up a weekly pattern of support will keep our parish financially healthy. Enjoy your time away and remember you can read our weekly bulletins at www.rc.net/rockvillecentre/olpsouthampton/ Thank you! THANK OUR SUPPORTERS Our bulletin is supported through the generosity of the advertisers and most are members of our local community. We urge you to support our advertisers with your patronage. Tell the business owner that you appreciate their support of our parish through their advertising in the bulletin. This is one small way we can work within our own community to weather these challenging times. Give them strong faith that nothing may ever lead them to deny it or fear to practice it. Fortify them by your grace against the contagion of bad example, so that preserved from vice and serving you faithfully, they may be ready to meet death if it should come. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, inspire them with sorrow for sin and grant them pardon. Mary, our Mother, be with them in battle, and should they be called upon to make the supreme sacrifice, obtain for them the grace to die in the love of your Divine Son. St. Joseph, pray for them. Amen. NEWS WORTHY? Does your organization have news or an event you would like to share? If so, email it to the bulletin editor at olpchurch@optonline.net 3 weeks prior.
