Duties: Position repairs broken and malfunctioning furniture,
doors, windows, locks, glass panes and other types of
equipment. Position makes and installs window frames and
trim, doors, flooring, siding, sheathing, stairs, railing, cabinets,
office partitions, shelves and built-in furniture. Position
constructs and repairs buildings and structures, using wood or
metal studs. Position replaces damaged ceiling panels, wall
coverings and flooring; builds bookcases, cabinets, tables,
partitions and other types of furniture. Position makes various
types of rafter cuts; lays out and cuts stair horse stringers;

Req.: High School Diploma or equivalent; successful
completion of Vocational School Carpentry Program; three (3)
years of experience in carpentry work involving the layout,
construction, repair, maintenance of buildings, offices and
furnishings. Knowledge of all equipment used in carpentry
work. Must have the ability to carry out directions and/or work
from blueprints or drawings and to take all necessary safety
precautions. Physical Strength Rating Assessment for this
position as per Dictionary of Titles as Very Heavy Work; the
definition of Very Heavy Work: Exerting in excess of 100
pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of

Case Manager I
The Case Manager I (CM) is responsible for conducting
community screens, comprehensive assessments and options
counseling for the most frail and vulnerable older adults (ages
60+) and adults (18+) with disabilities and/or their caregivers in
order to assist the client/their families) in identifying and
obtaining needed services. From the comprehensive
assessment, the CM devises a plan that addresses the
physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs/problems of
the client. The CM insures that services are delivered and
monitors the client’s condition and circumstances. The CM
works through a collaborative process to evaluate options and
services to meet the individual’s care needs. This function
requires strong clinical skills and the capacity to engage,
inform and inspire older adults, persons with disabilities and
their caregivers to remain in the community safely. The CM is
also responsible for assisting clients in identifying needs and
available resources and linking
clients/caregivers/representatives to appropriate services. The
CM conducts initial client/caregiver intake interviews either by
telephone or in-person to assist in making appropriate
referrals/links to available services. The CM also conducts 360
home visits per annum to include comprehensive in-home
assessments/reassessments of the most frail and vulnerable
adults and adults with physical disabilities to evaluate the
physical environment, living arrangements, functional status,
psychosocial status, support systems, cultural needs, and
financial status, with follow up visits, appropriately
documenting activities; The incumbent communicates with
consumers/providers in a courteous, understanding, unbiased
manner regardless of consumer’s race, ethnicity, income level
and/or ability to verbally communicate. The incumbent guides
clients/caregivers to determine a plan to meet identified needs
that addresses the physical, cognitive, social, cultural and
emotional needs of the client and adjusts the plan as
necessary to meet changes in the client’s status. The CM
continuously networks via senior groups/clubs, senior
centers/health fairs, etc. and serves as a resource for other
service providers to obtain/update information on available
services, and eligibility criteria and to promote an
understanding of the OOA/ADRC functions. The CM prepares
an appointment schedule on a daily basis; submits weekly and
monthly reports in compliance with policies; adheres to
established policies and protocols; assists in quality assurance
activities. The CM meets monthly service unit requirements
and other standards as set by Executive Director and/or
Administrator, Eldercare Services; participates in job-related
training programs as approved to keep abreast of changes in
the field of gerontology/disability. The CM performs other
duties as assigned.
Req.: Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, social work, nursing or
a health-related field from an accredited college or university
and valid license in area of practice, if applicable – Master’s
Degree preferred; two (2) years of experience in developing,
implementing and evaluating care plans for clients/caregivers;
ability to communicate clearly in English (written and oral);
excellent organization and management skills and the ability to
prioritize tasks/assignments, conduct holistic assessment, and
effectively problem solve; Ability to analyze and interpret
County policies, and to work harmoniously with all community
agencies, associates, and others having an interest in older
adults and adults with disabilities; ability to take a leading role
by providing needed advice and assistance; Proficiency on

Peer Recovery Support Coach (IOC)
Position Summary:Position will engage the Involuntary
Outpatient Commitment (IOC) client toward acceptance of
mental health & other critical services to assist in stabilization
in the community. Position will employ a set of non‐clinical,
peer- based activities that engage, educate & support an
individual to successfully make the life changes necessary to
recovery from a mental illness and/or substance abuse
disorder condition. Activities are based in education &
coaching by using personal lived experience of recovery to
encourage insight & growth.
Duties: Position will serve as a catalyst to recovery by guiding
the recovery process & supporting the individual’s goals &
decisions. Position directly initiates the individual to recovery
community environments. Position will link the client to needed
services & assist in navigating systems; addressing barriers to
independence & recovery. Position will directly accompany the
individual & “walking” them through new environments,
services/systems, when appropriate & necessary, providing
advocacy & transportation as indicated. Position will provide
education/support to goals through the use of coaching
skills/the use of their own recovery experience to illustrate the
recovery process. Position will build on the individual’s
strengths, needs, interest, capabilities to reach the goals
identified in the client’s WRAP & Individual Recovery Plan.
Position will develop trust, encourage, motivate, support the
individual in making informed choices, guided decisions to
establish or strengthen their own recovery. Engage or
re‐engage a client with their natural supports (family, friends &
other loved ones, landlords, employers, neighbors, etc.)
Position will identify service needs & assertively link the
individual to community resources (employment, education,
housing, social services, etc.) Position will document efforts;
submit paperwork in a timely fashion. In addition, position is
responsible to maintain the chart as completely as possible
with the contents up to date, clear, concise & accurate.
Position will maintain a good working relationship with staff,
professionals outside the program & with family/support
system. Position will engage in trainings & activities, including
but not limited to in-house training; statewide initiative, for
professional growth; quality service provision to consumers.
Position will work together with the client to develop a
treatment plan that meets the client’s emergent/long term
needs. Position will conduct one to one supportive counseling;
meet with family (or support system) when needed. Position
will participate in team meetings; supervision sessions.
Position will be responsible for facilitating peer support groups.
Position provides rotating 24 hour on-call weekends
Req.: HS diploma/or equivalent; lack of a degree will not
preclude an otherwise capable person from serving as a peer
counselor. Lived experience in recovery for serious mental
illness and/or substance use conditions; have sufficient
experience to demonstrate competency in the science of
recovery, the recovery process; useful supports & strategies,
practice of recovery values, cultural sensitivity, community
resource use & attainment, strength-based recovery planning;
recovery goal setting. Valid NJ driver’s license in good
standing.
Preferred Req.: BS in Psychiatric Social Work, Psychology,
Counseling or related field from an accredited college.
Computer Literate. License in good standing, if applicable.
Knowledge of community resources and services and the
ability to collaborate with other professionals. Bilingual

Essential Background & Experience Requirement: Skills
inclusive of outreach & engagement, motivation building, active
listening & communication, conflict resolution, crisis
intervention, recovery enhancement & re-engagement, written

to provide emotional support. Provide on-going monitoring of
individuals in the IOC program to ensure compliance with each

Art Therapist
Duties: The Art Therapist position is responsible for designing,
implementing and maintaining the Creative Arts Therapy
Program at RHCMHC. This involves the design and
implementation of the Art Therapy component of the Intensive
Outpatient Program (IOP) as well as provision of individual,
family and group art therapy for family clinic cases. In addition,
the Art Therapist will develop internship placement
opportunities for art therapy interns providing them with
direction, assignments, and field supervision. Position reports
directly to the OPD Program Director. Responsible for
managing a budget and ordering art supplies. Position
required to manage a clinical caseload in the OPD; face to
face contact with clients should occur at 66% of total work

Case Manager I - PATH
Duties: Position is responsible for assisting the homeless
mentally ill client toward acceptance of mental health and other
critical services and to assist in housing stabilization in the
community. Position writes and maintains the treatment plan,
monitors the client’s progress communicating with numerous inhouse and outside providers as the client is linked to services.
Provides assessment, treatment planning, crisis management
and coordinates all aspects of treatment. As the coordinator of
the client’s treatment the clinician utilizes a holistic treatment
approach in helping the client stabilize their psychiatric

Position carries a caseload of 10 to 12 clients (excluding

Position reports to the Director of the Greater Raritan
Workforce Investment Board (GRWIB) and is responsible for
working with all entities that provide employment, training,
incentives and resources to business in the context of the
GRWIB approved strategic priorities including; building
strategic alliances with partners, including those in the
economic development and coordinating outreach among the
various entities currently engaged in contacting businesses.

schematics. Must have the ability to perform vehicle recovery
and towing operations; ability to operate forklift. Perform
related work as required; ability to work long hours and/or shift
working during snow operations, along with irregular hours
during the winter. Position ensures shop cleanliness and
maintenance on a regular basis; does building safety checks.
Position is required to use a computer, knowledge of PC

Position Summary:
The essential function of this clinical position is to engage the
Involuntary Outpatient Commitment (IOC) client toward
acceptance of mental health and other critical services and to
assist in stabilization in the community. Position will write and

communicating with numerous in-house and outside providers
as the client is linked to services. Position will provide

Position Summary:

consultations and re-evaluations on a scheduled or emergency
basis to individuals involved with IOC. Position will hold clinical
case conferences. Position will perform other duties as
assigned by the Medical Director.

Psychiatry as recognized by ABPN. New Jersey State License;
Specialty Training or experience in Forensic Psychiatry. Age
