We are planning our 27th Annual Conference and would like to have as many possible presenters as we can! We are asking you to share your best practices with your colleagues from all over New York State. We will offer informative, motivating and uplifting presentations and even build in a little time for fun! There are multiple topics to cover, so send us any new ideas you would like to present. Technology, transition, vocational training, TASC, safety. We are especially interested in topics such as, Common Core, Mental Health, Stress Relief. Check the NYSAIEP website for updates, schedules, and our scholarship application. We will be awarding new scholarships this Spring. Can’t wait to see you in May! Please limit description to 150 words. SHORT BIOGRAPHY: PRESENTATION CRITERIA: Form must be completed in its entirety. Please note: The title and description on the Call for Presenters will be utilized for the conference program. A brief typed paragraph of biographical data on each presenter must accompany proposal. Presentation must be limited to the one (1) hour, 15 minute timeframe. PRESENTER(S) RESPONSIBILITY: Must register for the conference and pay the registration fee, hotel and transportation costs. Furnishing 50 handouts per session. Adhering to all copyright laws. The security of any personal equipment or items used in the presentation. Presenter must provide their own laptop. Will be responsible to provide an electronic copy of presentation materials, PowerPoint, and handouts to be posted to the NYSAIEP website. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Deadline for submission of presentation proposal and short biography is January 16, 2015.
