Product description
The LISA-C210 provides CDMA2000 1xRTT 450MHz data and
voice communication in a compact SMT form factor. It is a fully
qualified and certified module, featuring low power consumption and a rich set of Internet protocols. It is ideally suited to
M2M applications and in particular to Automatic Meter reading
Applications (AMR).

The LISA-C210 is compatible with the LISA-U, LISA‑C200,
SARA-G and SARA-U module families, enabling straightforward
development of products supporting either CDMA, UMTS/
HSPA, or GSM/GPRS wireless technology with the same application board. This allows customers to take maximum advantage
of their hardware and software investments.
CDMA 450 MHz technology, due to its low frequency, provides
a very efficient RF propagation, which means superior area
coverage and building penetration, and allows a wide area to
be covered with a relatively low number of base stations. Such
coverage makes this technology extremely interesting for the
deployment of private communication networks that require a
high level of security, service quality and network control. These
LISA-C210 will be certified according to R&TTED and
CDMA certifications and qualified according to ISO 16750 –
Environmental conditions and electrical testing for electrical and
electronic equipment for road vehicles.
