1st Meeting of the Core Facility We are honoured that this meeting is included in the events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Medical Faculty Mannheim. About the Core Facility The core facility LIMA was founded in 2011 with the goal of giving researchers and clinicians access to a powerful and innovative bio-imaging tool for the study of biological processes in action. The core facility LIMA provides dynamic imaging equipment i.e. state of the art laser scanning microscopes along with technical expertise and is currently collaborating on studies that include angiogenesis, tumour metastasis, cardiovascular physiology, cellular signalling, nociception of acute and chronic pain as well as neuronal polarity. Venue The meeting will be held at the auditorium of the Medical Faculty Mannheim, Hörsaal H02, Alte Brauerei, Röntgenstr. 7, 68169 Mannheim on the 7th of November 2014, starting at 9 o’clock with the welcoming address of the Dean. 7.
