Attendance is compulsory for all Practical Classes
6.
Students who have paid the tuition fees and examination fees alone will be
permitted to attend the classes and examination.
7.
Students are instructed to bring this communication, fee remittance challan and
identity card to produce them on demand.
8.
The Practical record books for both Geography major and allied papers will be
issued in the classroom. At the end of the practical, the records should be in bound
form (Spiral binding) before commencement of examinations.
9.
Students are advised to make their own arrangements for attending the classes.
10.
Arrear candidates are permitted to attend the classes on the payment of
Re-do fee of Rs.450/- for each year.
11.
Students are instructed to bring their practical handbook issued by IDE, and pencil,
sharpener, eraser, geomentry box, 12” scale, black or colour micro tip pen
calculator and colour box containing 12 colours and exam pad.

1. Practical Classes and Examination for First Year and Second Year M.Sc
Geography candidates admitted to Calendar Year 2014 and Calendar Year
2013(C -14 & C-13 batches) and arrear candidates will be conducted at the
Department of Geography, University of Madras, Chepauk, Chennai - 600

2. Attendance is Compulsory for the Practical Classes.
3. PCP Classes will be held from 9.00 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 5.15 p.m

4. Arrear candidates are permitted to attend the classes on the payment of Redo fee of Rs.1100/- for each year.
5. Students are instructed to bring (a) the communication (b) fee remittance challan
and (c) identity card and to produce them on demand.
6. Students are advised to make their own arrangements for attending classes
7. Students are instructed to bring their practical handbook issued by IDE, pencils,
sharpener, eraser, geomentry box, black or colour micro tip and colour box
containing 12 colours.
8. All the practical work including record work shall be completed in the classroom
only.
9. Failed candidates are instructed to bring their earlier record book and submit the
same to the co-ordinator M.Sc Geography programme / IDE, University of
Madras, Chepauk, Chennai – 600 005 at the time of practical examination.
10. Practical work book, data sheets and the stationery needed for the class /
examination will be provided at the centre itself.
