Pioneer Swim League Relay Carnival November 15, 2014 Chichester High School Natatorium Warm-up 8:30am, start 9am In honor of the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Pioneer Swim League is donating non-perishable food items to those less fortunate. Items collected will be donated to organizations distributing food to the Chester and New Castle County areas. Eligibility Entry Deadline Entries Entry Fees Rules Awards Programs & Admission Concession Officials & Volunteers Directions Open to all Pioneer Swim League teams and swimmers. Swimmers’ age is as of October 15, 2014. Swimmers may enter a maximum of 4 events. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 Entries should be submitted via online form by clicking here, or email to Diana Stambaugh at dstambaugh@bgclubs.org. $1.00 per person or a non-perishable food donation. Checks should be made payable to Pioneer Swim League. USA Swimming rules for relays, strokes and turns will be in effect with the exception of the backstroke relay. In the backstroke relay, swimmers 2 through 4 are to perform a forward start and surface on his/her back no more than 15 meters after the start. Ribbons will be awarded to top 6 relay teams in each event. Meet Programs will be on sale for a non-perishable food or monetary donation. Admission is free. A concession stand will be provided. Each team will be required to supply timers. USA and/or PSL certified officials will be required for the meet. We will also require volunteers to help with scoring and ribbon labeling. Please submit the names of all timers, officials and any other volunteers with entries. I-95 North to 495 North to I-95 North (or just stay on I-95 through Wilmington) Take the 1st exit in Pennsylvania (Exit 1) for Chichester Avenue Veer left at the top (end) of the exit ramp. Turn LEFT onto Chichester Avenue. Go straight through a few lights (past Wendy’s & shopping center on your left) Turn RIGHT into Chichester High School (set back from the road) The building closest to Chichester Ave houses the pool (the building to the right as you look at the main entrance to the school). Time: between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on traffic and the weight of your foot.
