A Chapter Excellence certificate will be awarded at the meeting. Who Should Attend • General internists • Subspecialty internists • Family practitioners • Hospitalists Evergreen Award The Evergreen Program was created in 1993 by the College to recognize and reward outstanding chapter efforts. The Evergreen Program provides visibility to those chapters that have been successful in implementing programs that increase member communication and involvement. Each year all chapters are invited to nominate their own programs, and to provide details on the goals of the program, how it was implemented, and what the results were. The Chapter Subcommittee has the difficult task of selecting a small group of chapters, which are recognized nationally and locally for their achievements. We are excited to announce the 2014 Evergreen Award was presented to our chapter for the Do No Harm Project at IM 2014 in Orlando. Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: • Apply updated knowledge of internal medicine to clinical practice. • Assess who needs to be admitted for a TIA/CVA • Learn indications for using the newer anticoagulants • Determine appropriateness of male Testosterone and “antiaging” replacement/supplementation • Fellows in subspecialty training • Allied health practitioners • Residents (internists in training) • Medical students interested in internal medicine CME Accreditation The American College of Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
