Datwyler consists of two independent Divisions:
• The Technical Components Division is one of the largest
distributors of electronics, IT and automation in Europe.
• The Sealing Solutions Division is a leading supplier of
customer specific sealing solutions to global market segments, such as the automotive, pharmaceutical and civil
engineering industries.
With a total of more than 50 operating companies, sales in
over 100 countries and some 7‘000 employees of which
2000 in Asia, the Datwyler Group generates annual revenue in excess of CHF 1,400 million / EUR 1,100 million. The
Group has been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since
1986.
Technical Components is the trading Division of Datwyler
and the umbrella for the three Business Units Distrelec /
Elfa Distrelec, Reichelt and Nedis. Together the Division
with over 2’000 employees generates an annual turnover
of EUR 600 million by selling over 500’000 products to
over 1 million customers.
We serve our customers anywhere (in all countries, across
all channels, on all levels of the value chain) and anytime
(through 24/7 internet) with all electronics products.
In the customer interface we benefit from our speed boat
approach where our multiple brands allow us to address
multiple customer segments on all levels of the value
chain with tailored offerings and value propositions.
In the back-end we make full use of our large size using
synergies in sourcing, logistics, HR as well as e-platforms
and IT which enables us to achieve an industry leading
cost structure.

As a high ser vice on-line distributor Distrelec / Elfa
Distrelec offers a full product range in consumer electronics, electronic components, IT and automation. Some
250’000 products are available and delivered across
Europe within 24 hours. Most orders are placed on our
e-Platform. Beyond we also offer individual technical support as well as products in larger quantities or products
outside of the standard product range. Main focus are B2B
customers but also the B2C segment is growing.

Reichelt is a price leader which offers a carefully selected
portfolio of consumer electronics, electronic components,
IT and automation at leading prices. It serves business
customers, private consumers as well as schools and
governments. It mainly sells through the internet, is based
in Germany and is rapidly expanding into the European
market.

Teco Asia: our strength in sourcing
Our common sourcing organization in Hong Kong (China),
Technical Components Asia, constantly scouts the market
and is in on-going contact with our many suppliers and
conducts on site quality inspection. It further ensures proper product quality and documentation.

chain in consumer electronics and IT peripherals
With Nedis as a wholeseller with its own brands and
Reichelt and Distrelec / Elfa Distrelec as retailers we control the whole value chain from the Asian producer all the
way to the European end-user.

Nedis is a wholeseller in the areas of consumer electronics

and smart media accessories which it sells to re-sellers
across all of Europe. Nedis has a portfolio of around 20’000
consumer electronics products, most of them Nedis
owned brands, wich are produced in Asia to Nedis specifications and quality guidelines.
