ABOUT IMCA
WHAT IS IMCA?
The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is the
international trade association representing offshore, marine
and underwater engineering companies. Our goal is to improve
performance in the marine contracting industry.
We are a respected voice around the world promoting good
practice, particularly in the areas of quality and efficiency, as well
as health, safety, environmental and technical standards.
Our guidance is developed by the industry for the industry.
Our membership is made up of companies and organisations
active in the industry. Our two core activities relate to all our
members. Each member also joins at least one of our four
technical divisions, specific to their area of interest. Our members
and technical committees across the globe facilitate work on
issues affecting their local area.

ANNUAL SEMINAR 2014 WHERE NEXT FOR THE OFFSHORE MARINE INDUSTRY?
ABOUT THE ANNUAL SEMINAR
“Professional and well organised.
An interactive event within a very
open and friendly atmosphere”
RON MOLENAAR
SHE-Q Manager, Boskalis
WHO ATTENDS?
The event is largely attended by (but not limited to) those in QHSE
and operational management roles for contractors, oil companies
and suppliers involved in offshore operations. Although most of
the delegates who attend are from IMCA member companies,
those with an interest in the technical developments and QHSE in
marine contracting from non-member companies are welcome to
attend, and voice their opinions in the discussions too.
WHY ATTEND THE IMCA ANNUAL
SEMINAR?
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
It is your chance to join those at the forefront of the marine
contracting industry, who will gather from across the globe.
•All the presentations, discussions and workshops, led by experts
and specialists from across the industry over the two days
Listen to the presentations given by the specialists on technical,
safety and environmental issues affecting the industry.
Contribute to the important discussions, which often drive the
development of IMCA’s guidance. Network with colleagues and
make new connections at our informal evening events.
