We’re making exciting changes to our benefits program for 2015, so you’ll want to learn what’s new so you can choose the coverage that’s best for you. What’s New for 2015 … Everything! There are three important things for you to know about your benefits for 2015: introducing a new approach to benefits enrollment for 2015 — 1. We’re one that’s simpler and offers you a wide selection of benefit choices: Mercer Marketplace. Through Mercer Marketplace, you can combine traditional benefits, like medical, dental, and life insurance, with other benefit options, like accident insurance and critical illness coverage, to create a personalized benefits package. Some of the benefits will be similar to your current benefits, while other benefits will be completely new. You’ll even be able to go to a new online enrollment site with great decisionmaking tools to help you select the right benefit plans for you and your family. Or, you can call the Mercer Marketplace call center at 844-801-WOOF (9663) where trained benefit professionals are ready to serve you and help you make the right choices. You’ll be responsible for any remaining cost for the benefits you select. Details, including rates, are available on the Mercer Marketplace website, www.mercermarketplace.com/VCAInc (available starting November 24th). TWO WAYS TO ENROLL (Starting Nov. 24, 2014) 1. Online at www.mercermarketplace.com/VCAInc Go to the Mercer Marketplace Portal beginning when Open Enrollment begins (www.mercermarketplace.com/VCAInc) to use the enrollment tool. When you first log on, you’ll need to select “Create an account” and identify yourself by providing your: 〉〉 Social Security number 〉〉 Last name 〉〉 Date of birth. Then, you’ll be prompted to select a unique user name and password that you’ll use going forward. From there, click “Get Started” to begin the enrollment process. 2. By phone at 844-801-WOOF (9663) Call Mercer Marketplace beginning November 24th between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time.. Representatives are available if you have questions or need assistance enrolling. Remember: You must submit elections by December 8th to have benefit coverage for 2015. If you don’t enroll, your current VCA benefits coverage will end December 31, 2014. Your next opportunity to enroll for coverage will be during the 2016 Open Enrollment period, unless you have an IRS qualified life event that makes you eligible to elect or change VCA benefits coverage.
