HOLIDAY SHOP The Holiday Shop Returns to China Spring Elementary December 1 – 5! A SAVINGS ENVELOPE will be coming home with your child prior to the Thanksgiving break. This is a great opportunity to help your child learn to save in order to shop for family and friends. Please take advantage of this opportunity to work on counting and budgeting skills and to celebrate the holiday spirit of giving to others! Students may earn extra by completing chores and doing their best at school. To enable parents to help their children plan their purchases, students will be able to preview the sale and bring home a price and merchandise list on Monday, December 1. If you are free during the school day and would like to volunteer to work a shift at the shop, please email kari.mckown@hopetherapyforkids.com. We need YOU to help make this year’s Holiday Shop a huge success! A note from the nurse: Please remember that children are not to carry medicine of any kind, not even cough drops or Tylenol. While these seem like fairly harmless things, they are medication nonetheless, and should not be carried by students. We have a form that must be completed any time you want your child to take medication at school. We require that medicines be transported by an adult and kept in the nurse’s office.
