Scope
The goal of this activity is to produce Supplement 3 to ARINC Specification
825: General Standardization of Controller Area Network (CAN) for Airborne
Use. The expected benefit is to increase log-term usability, provide single

Meeting
Objectives
The CAN Working Group will meet to develop Draft 3 of Supplement 3 to
ARINC Specification 825 with the intention of circulating the document for
adoption consideration at the 2015 AEEC General Session.
The topics of discussion and planned inclusion in the draft document are:

Peer-to-Peer Corrections
Parameter Terminology Consistency
Functional Status Methodology
High Integrity Messages (Inclusion of CAN ID)

The Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Hotel is about 45 miles from the Orlando,

Drive time: 45 min.
Directions: Take SR 528 East (Bee Line) for 40 miles until it becomes A1A
South at Port Canaveral. Go 5 miles on A1A South through Cape Canaveral and
into Cocoa Beach. The Hilton hotel is located 1 mile south of Ron Jon's on the
left.
Note: SR 528 (Bee Line) is a toll road. You will need cash for the tolls.

Distance from hotel: 25 miles
Drive time: 40 min.
Directions: Turn left onto Nasa Blvd to US 1; turn left onto US 1 North to SR
404 (Pineda Cswy). Turn right onto 404 East to Hwy A1A; turn left onto A1A
North and go 8 miles. The Hilton hotel is located on the right side of the road.
