2014-15 5 Days Training Program on Automobile & Vehicle Dynamics Elite-techno Groups 5 Days Training Program on Automobile & Vehicle Dynamics India’s biggest Automobile and vehicle dynamics workshop Overview: - Elite-techno Groups has been conducting workshop, trainings & internships on 8 different modules related to mechanical, automobile & aeronautical engineering throughout the country. Course curriculum designed by professionals & engineers from FORMULA-1 RACING MARSHALLS, ASHOK LEYLAND, TATA MOTORS ACCORDING TO INDUSTRIES NEED & REQUIREMENT. Aim:- We started this program to spread knowledge and awareness among students as well as college officials that what actually is the industries requirement and decreasing the gap between students and industries and make the students industryready when he/she graduate. To give students a head start as they begin to design their cars for BAJA-SAE / SUPRA- SAE/F-SAE events. To achieve this aim we conduct workshops, internships, trainings & industrial visit for students so that they can understand new technologies that big industries are using. We have already conducted our different module in different engineering colleges and universities throughout the country. The expected result of these kind of workshops/trainings is a measurable increase in the ability of the student to relate concepts taught herein and during his engineering years to real-life problems. Engines Day 5 - Hybrid power train Self-Calculation and designing session – Day 1 – Basic calculations Day 2 – Ackermann percentage, Steer angle and slip angle calculations, steering effort, steering wheel radius, turning radius Day 3 – Designing of a suspension on grid sheet, camber angle calculation and calculations of brakes – braking performance triangle, braking power, stopping distance, disc diameter to stop vehicle properly, pressure acting on caliper and all other calculations of a racing cars braking system Day 4 – I.C. Engine calculations Day 5 – Hybrid power train Practical Session Day 1 – Steering & braking Day 2- Suspensions Day 3- Suspensions Day 4- Engine components proper working. Suspensions - types, application of suspension in a racing car and a commercial car , relation between ride quality and handling quality, calculation for sprung weight and un sprung weight, ride height , spring stiffness , roll centre height concept , types - trailing arm suspension, double wishbone suspension, McPherson strut suspension , Types of suspension – Independent / dependent / semi-dependent Types of springs – coil / air / rubber / leaf Types of dampers– single tube damper / double tube damper / magneto rheological dampers. Chassis dynamics – Jacobin matrix application in chassis designing , rigidity to weight ration optimization, stress tenser, distortion matrix and hydrostatic matrix application in practical life and for chassis designing, F.E.A. analysis on different components of chassis. Braking dynamics – braking performance triangle – distribution of brake force, designing parameters for a disc brake and steps involved in designing of a disc brake. Dynamics of IC engine – Pressure calculations, variable valve timing concept, intake tuning, fuel injectors working, cylinder pressure optimization, mileage to speed / power to torque optimization.
