AFM SERIES
Algypug's AFM Series of Floor Mounted
Industrial Enclosures are manufactured using
a fully welded construction from CRCA steel,
with front access from a hinged single/double
door.
AFM enclosures are designed for mounting
instrumentation and low attenuation,
electronic, electrical, IT components indoors,
and are perfectly suited to the varying
requirements of integrators, OEMs and endusers.
Agypug’s Floor Mounted Enclosures are
independently certified to IP 55, and conform
to British Standard EN-60529, as well as UL
508A. They are powder coated to ASTM B117

top of the enclosure

to any position throughout the
depth of the enclosure on
fixed mounting rails

Perforated, reinforced vertical

Enclosure - RAL 7035 structured grey, Mounting plate - RAL 2000 orange (GI Optional),
Plinth - RAL 7022 dark grey. Coating thickness 80 to 100 microns.
a. Forced ventialtion through fans either on front door or on sides/back fitted on louvers + filters, b.
Natural ventillation through louvers + filters c. Air conditioners of 300 to 3000 Watts depends on heat
dissipation.
Body - 1.5mm., Front Door - 2mm., Bottom Gland Plate - 3mm, Mounting Plates - 3mm.
For enclosures using a back plate construction: Frame - 2mm, Back Plate - 1.5mm
Door opening 120 Degrees and 180 Degrees on request.
Earth Spec
Clean Earth, PE - mild steel copper-plated stud M6 - 1,19 mΩ.
Dimesions
Combinations of: Heights from 1000mm to 1600mm, Widths from 600mm to 1000mm, Depths from
350mm to 600mm.
Gasketing
Robotic Foam-in-place gaskting for higher IP Protection.
Corrosion Test
Salt spray: ASTM B117 - No rusting or blistering after 200 hrs (iron phosphated steel).
Cable Entry
Standard Practice is from the base. Optionally, a top cover plate on the top with gasketing can be
offered for top cable entry.

Enclosure body, front concealed hinged single/double door (depending on width) with robotic
foam-in-place gaskets and standard 3 point CAM lock, bottom gland plate, 1 no of mounting plate
fixed on depth adjustable channels., 4 x M12 eyebolts.
