With typical attendance of about 20 members (out of 288 total), this will represent a donation of approximately $40. State Golf Tournament The October 4-5 golf tournament produced a profit after expenses of $5127 ($295 more than reported last month). At the October business meeting a motion was passed to propose a split of the profit evenly between the council and Knights Club. At the November business meeting a motion was presented to donate proceeds from those signs sold to non-profit organizations to LAMB Foundation of NC. Because these amounts exceed $500, our bylaws dictate that we must announce these items will be on the agenda at the December 15 business meeting. We had about 40 members, spouses and guests in attendance. Our celebrant was Father David Hyman, O.F.M., who has returned to Greensboro after 20 years to become Father Louie’s assistant at St. Francis Springs Prayer Center. He was warmly welcomed and remarked later how much he enjoyed the wonderful food and the company. Lawrene Kirwan was Chairlady for the event and was ably assisted by her husband Pat. Thanks for doing such a great joy. Have you marked your th calendar for December 10 ? Our Annual Christmas Dinner is that evening at 6:30 pm at Porterhouse Restaurant on W. Market Street. If you did not sign up at either the October or November meeting, please call Marion Gilligan @ 288-0030 no later than th Monday, December 8 . The Officers of the Auxiliary wish all our members and their families a very Blessed Christmas and the Happiest and healthiest of New Years. THE KNIGHTS CLUB SAYS THANK You On behalf of the Directors of the Knights Club we wish to extend our appreciation to all those who supported our recent 3rd Annual Brunswick Stew Sale Fundraiser. We are still in process of calculating net profits but we didn’t want to neglect showing our appreciation. We would also like to give a big THANK YOU to our Top Chefs, Jerry Byrd, Jerome Dixon and Roy Berninger. Not to be overlooked are the Brothers who turned out to stir the stew, package the containers and be on site for pick- up. Without all these Brothers, we wouldn’t have been able to have a successful fundraiser. We still have approximately 75 quarts of stew available for sale. If you did not have a chance to purchase on Nov., 9th, or just loved it so much, please call Marshall Perry @ 288-6091 to arrange for pick up.
