Flexible Panels

James Latham distributes a comprehensive range of sizes and thicknesses of flexible sheet materials including
MDF, Plywood and Veneer. Flexible sheet materials are gaining in popularity because they offer end users a
convenient and cost effective means to create complex shaped and curved designs. Our aim is to offer quality

Neatform Flexible MDF
Flexible Plywood
Precision-machined slots across the length or
width of each sheet achieve MDF’s superb flexible
characteristics. For more information request the new
Neatform machined panels product guide. Neatform
is produced from Medite MDF and is FSC accredited.
Available as primed, veneered or with melamine faces.
Available to order as MR, FR Class C and Exterior.
Flexible Plywood has a specialised construction
allowing it to be easily bent to shape. The arc formed by
the bend is perpendicular to the grain direction of the
face and the exact bending radii have to be determined
in accordance with the type of surface finishing required
and the extent of the surface to be treated.
The bending radii will vary on each different thickness
and this information is available from our sales office.
Neatflex Ply
The robust material for the one piece frame
construction of curved surfaces for heavy duty
applications. Neatflex Ply combines MDF Lite with
Birch or Poplar Plywood. This specification enables
strong smooth curves to be created where weight is
an issue or moisture is present. Other specifications
are available on request. Neatflex can be combined
with itself, Neatform Bendy MDF or plywood to
create frameless free-form curves.
Decoflex Flexible Veneers
Realwood Flexible Veneers can be used on both
flat and curved surfaces and include a wide range
of sanded 0.6mm “A” quality veneers on a flexible
backing. Decoflex Flexible veneers are zero added
Formaldehyde.
Thin Birch Plywood
This rigid, lightweight and flexible product can be
used in many applications including skis, musical
instruments, car dash board backing panels and
recently smart cards and hotel door cards.

Size: 2440 x 1220mm or 1220 x 2440mm
Available in standard and MR MDF, also
with real wood decorative veneers, plus
melamine faced and primed. Available to
order, exterior and FR class C. Subject
to confirmation, boards can be machined
to customers’ own designs specification.

Thickness: 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9mm
Size: 2440 x 1220mm long & cross grain
Thickness: 3 and 16mm
Size: 1220 x 2440mm cross grain
Ceiba face veneers.
Decoflex Flexible Veneer
Ex stock 2500 x 1220/1240, available to
order in 3050/2750 x 1240mm and
up to 3600 x 1530
Specie - White Ash, White Beech,
Steamed Beech, Cherry, Mahogany,
Maple, White Oak, Pine, Sapele and
American Black Walnut. More exotic
veneers available. Zebrano and Wenge
to order.
Thin Birch Plywood
Thickness: 0.4-3.0mm
Size: 1525 x 1525mm, 1220 x 1220mm
1270 x 1270mm
Finnish birch throughout plywood.
