Congratulations to the AWF Renegades who were victorious over Joliet Catholic on
Sunday night with a final score of 7-2. Captain Lucas Kelly along with Joey Eltman
played an aggressive game while Joey Simoncelli went on the board with a goal and
Cory Schwarz added 5 goals. Great Job Boys!If
Congratulations to the speech team for their award winning performances at Palatine
High School on Saturday. Catherine Mojsiewicz took 5th place in Dramatic Interp,
Nicole Rybak took 1st place in Informative Speaking and Annie Gonzales took 6th place
in Informative Speaking, and Chelsea Cabanada took 3rd place in Poetry

Congratulations to the freshmen wrestling team that placed fifth out of twelve teams in
the extremely tough Rolling Meadows wrestling tournament. Finishers- 113- Adam
Chaidez- 4th place, 138- Brian Jaramillo- 5th place, 145- Jack Butts- 2nd place, 152Angel Morales, 160- Dylan Butts- 1st place, 160- Fernando Sanchez- 4th place, 170Victor Vargas- 3rd place, 182- Anthony Park- 4th place, 220- Martin Perez- 4th place,
285- Alex Trevino- 4th place. Great job guys! The freshmen wrestling team will be
competing in the Elgin Larkin wrestling tournament this

On Saturday, the Fenton Academic Team hosted the Metro Suburban Conference
Scholastic Bowl Tournament. The Varsity championship was won by Ridgewood and
the 2nd place team was Riverside-Brookfield. The Frosh-Soph championship was won
by Wheaton Academy and the 2nd place team was Riverside-Brookfield. The Fenton
Varsity team finished 7th and the F/S team finished 3rd. Josh Horstman was named to
the Varsity All-Conference team with 28 tossups. Katie Bruce and Adam Matolak were
named to the F/S All-Conference Team with 60 and 36 tossups, respectively.

The Special Olympics basketball team wants to give a shout out to NHS for helping us
with the cost of The Pack the Place pizza party. It was very kind and thoughtful of all of

Final Exam Information
Final exams begin Wednesday; refer to the Fenton Exam Schedule posted in your
classrooms. Please note the following information:

All students are expected to leave the building during their lunch period, as lunch
will NOT be served during finals, unless you signed up to stay in the building with Mr.
Castro. We will run buses twice on final exam days.

Students are required to attend ALL study halls except for 6th hour which is the last period
of finals; parents of 6th hour study hall students must call their student out for this
period. Students with 8th hour early release do not have to come in for 8th, but are expected
to report to their 7th hour.
Any student who is late to an exam by 15 minutes or more will NOT be allowed to enter the
exam room; it will have to be rescheduled with Mr. Castro. Students who miss an exam
altogether due to a tardy, will receive a "0" for that final.
Any student who is unexcused for any full period during finals, will NOT be allowed to make
that final up (only a doctor note or dean can excuse the absence).
The Fenton Media Center will be open each morning of finals at 7:00 A.M.
The Bensenville library will be open late for Fenton students to come in and study. The
Bensenville library will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 11:00 P.M.
