FAQ’s
Is it a full degree?
YES! You will receive a FULL Honours degree in Business Management and Leadership.
Are there any fees for me?
All your tuition is paid for including all your books! However if you leave within 5 years you will have
to repay a proportion of those fees.
Do I get a job at the end of it?
You will be offered a full time position based on your performance throughout the program.
Including attendance, attitude and attainment of academic and business goals.
How often do I have to work?
5 days per week – 9-5:30 .
Will there be time for me to complete my university work?
You will be given 1 day per week to study whilst at work. This will differ from week to week as to
what you may use this time for. It is expected however that the majority of the work that you will
complete for university will be completed outside of work.
Will I get a mentor at First Response who can help me?
You will be assigned a mentor from both First Response and also Nottingham Trent University.
They are there to help and guide you, although they are not there to do the work for you.
How many students are on the Sponsored Degree?
Currently there are 3 students with First Response on the sponsored degree; however there are 10
more possible places for this year.
How many staff members are there?
Across Nottingham, Manchester and Glasgow; there are currently 249 people working for First
Response Finance LTD.
What is the typical age range of the business?
Within the business there are all different ages working for us. In the business operations teams the
average ages are between 24-30.
Where do we study?
You will study at Nottingham Trent University, at the Newton Building in Nottingham city centre.

Who is First Response?
The Sponsored Degree
Fully Sponsored Business Management & Leadership degree in partnership with Nottingham
Trent University totalling £23,500 for 3 years.
A full time career integrated within operations providing vital experience to aid your degree.
First Response Finance is an award winning Car Finance Company, our primary business is Hire
Purchase Car Finance; with our head office and operations teams based in Nottingham.
We pride ourselves on being a responsible lender, with a unique customer experience which is

An annual full time salary of £12,000 whilst studying.

Requirements

240 UCAS Points - 3C’s at A-Level or Equivalents e.g. BTEC Nationals (excluding General Studies)
