SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for SMALL CALIBER AMMUNITION MANUFACTURING for the U.S. ARMY SOLICITATION NUMBER: W15QKN-15-R-6748 SOLICITATION OVERVIEW The Army Contracting Command – New Jersey and the Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition System are seeking interested and qualified sources to provide Engineering, Design, Development, Manufacturing, Equipment, and Testing Services for small caliber ammunition. TECHINICAL SCOPE • Qualified sources will be required to have the capability to manufacture/provide: o o o o o Small caliber manufacturing and packaging equipment Ammunition cartridges Ammunition Components Ammunition packaging/components Ammunition Models • In small quantities (1,000,000 or less) of the following families of small caliber ammunition: 9-mm .22 Caliber .30 Caliber .38 Caliber .45 Caliber .50 Caliber 5.56-mm 7.62-mm .300 Caliber .338 Caliber 10 Gauge 12 Gauge Non-Standard Calibers .22-.50 SUBMISSION INFORMATION • Interested sources must possess expertise in small caliber ammunition to support and/or execute engineering analysis, development efforts (e.g. prototypes), manufacturing, productivity studies, and test activities. • PLANNED ACQUISITION: The anticipated procurement will be a five year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ) for FY 17-FY21. • The Government plans on making one or more contract awards. • Responsible, interested sources are asked to submit their qualification and capabilities including information, as applicable, on prior development and production history of small caliber ammunition within 30 days of this notice. • Send notice to: SOLICITATION NUMBER W15QKN-15-R-6748 RESPONSE DUE DATE December 24, 2014 ABOUT CHESAPEAKE TESTING CONTACT INFORMATION Chesapeake Testing offers ammunition testing in accordance with SAAMI, FBI, and NATO protocols.
