Calling All Runners/Spread the Word
HSYF will again be raising money for their spring trip
by jointly running marathons (yep, that's 26.2 miles)
on Sunday, February 8. The race director, Mike Clark
of Junction 311, has generously agreed to allow our
teams to pay only the shirt/medal fee, and then pay
the registration fee to HSYF as a donation. If you would
like to join us by running one or more laps (each lap is
1.6 miles), please call me. If you know anyone in the
community who plans to run the race, please have
them call me before registering so I can instruct them
on how to register to insure that HSYF will receive their
registration fee.
Many Thanks!
Joanna Flynn, 253-1977
SEEKING?
New Gardeners are invited to join members of Ministry
and Counsel for a four-week series of discussions in
February designed to introduce and spark conversation
about wide-ranging topics such as Quaker History, the

about Quakerism and New Garden, this is for you!
Join us February 1, 8, 15, and 22, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in
the parlor. Child care will be provided; we ask that you
call or email the office to let us know the age of the child/
children so we can be sure to have appropriate coverage.

Sunday, January 11 at 3:00 p.m. at New Garden Friends
