Getting to the core
of research
Find out how SingHealth’s core platforms and strategic programmes can work with
you to advance translational and clinical research.
Over the years, SingHealth’s research has made significant breakthroughs in medicine. In continuing efforts to
support impactful research, there is a need to invest extensively in the set-up of research infrastructure.
Currently, the SingHealth Office of Research has established 11 core platforms and research programmes, each
spearheaded by experienced researchers who share their expertise with collaborators and fellow researchers.
“Each core platform and programme is functionally distinct and aims to provide a unified one-stop access to all major
research protocols and contemporary instrumentations to facilitate translational medical research,” said Prof Hui
Kam Man, Deputy Group Director, Research (Translational Research and Core Platforms), SingHealth and Principal
Investigator, Division of Cellular and Molecular Research, National Cancer Centre Singapore.
