PRAIRIELAND WELCOMES
ENS AUTO
Prairieland Park is proud to introduce our newest
corporate partner, Ens Auto.
PRAIRIELAND’S COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
Prairieland’s Community Partnership Program features Prairieland Park
working with one community organization throughout the year to create
awareness of their services as well as provide opportunities for fundraising for the organization.
STARS has been selected as Prairieland’s Community Partner for 2015. STARS is dedicated to
providing a safe, rapid, highly specialized emergency medical transport system for the critically
ill and injured. Their vision is “Saving lives through partnership, innovation and leadership”.
STARS currently operates from 3 bases in Alberta, 2 bases in Saskatchewan, and 1 base in
Manitoba.
This will be the second year of this
two-day youth event established in
support of Prairieland’s mandate to
promote Youth & Agriculture. A worldrenowned cattle fitter presents a oneday clinic where youth learn how to fit
and groom their cattle in preparation
to compete in a show setting. Day
two they compete in Market Steer
and Heifer classes as well as Team
Grooming. The clinician provides
feedback during the show to improve
their skills. This event is proving to
be a most positive addition to our
Agriculture programming. Included
in the two day event are seminar
presentations by feed, nutrition and
health-care specialists where parents
and 4H leaders are invited to attend.
STARS is a charitable, not-for-profit organization that relies on government, corporate and
community support.
