TZVI HERSH WEINREB, RABBI EMERITUS Vol. 5 No. 12 410-358-8604 FAX 410-358-0664 RABBI BENJAMIN BAK, זצ׳ל, RABBI EMERITUS (1972-1989) Message from the President I would like to thank Tzvi Zelcer for delivering an excellent and informative lecture on strategic and financial planning. I spoke with many that were in attendance, and they all enjoyed the evening. I would also like to thank the Friends of Shomrei committee, for arranging this event, and continuing to think of things that can bring members of the shul together. I would also like to thank Avi and Shana Zuckerbrod for hosting the oneg last Friday night for the younger members. I understand that there was a full house, with plenty of singing and eating. If members over 35 would like to have an oneg, we can have an early bird special starting at 4:00 any Friday afternoon. We really do appreciate people stepping up and volunteering to host events or assist with activities that help bring us all together. I am also happy to share that we have a date for our next event at the shul. Please join us on February 14, at 8:30 PM for a dairy bistro and game night. We will be advertising this event for the next few weeks, and it should be a great evening for all. There will be a flyer with all the details, as well as an email address for reservations. While I try not to single out Mazel Tovs, I would like to wish a mazel tov to Hillel and Keren Traub, on the marriage of their daughter Ayala to Moshe Bengio this past week. Besides the major contribution that the Traub’sprovidetothecommunity,Hillelwasinvolvedformanyyearsas an officer of the shul; and their volunteerism to the shul has been greatly appreciated. For those of you that will miss me, there will be pictures placed in strategic places throughout the shul. Suburban last week, Glen Avenue this week, it’s like a Where’s Waldo game, but I am the fellow in the horizontal striped shirt. Have a great Shabbos, Chaim Melavah Malka!
