ILLUSTRATIVE PAGE COMPETITION RESULT
Painting as a form of art fosters creativity and imagination in toddlers. These activities help
children develop their senses and let the toddlers express how they view the world, and their
place in it. In an encouraging environment, children are able to express their feelings using
paint, colour, movement or music to communicate their feelings. The notion of creating art
works through the medium of machines may seem a little strange, but interaction between
artist and computer constitutes a totally new, active, and exciting artistic medium. For children,
MS Paint is easier to use and fun, too. The digital “brushes” and the tools help to trace different
shapes, strokes and bring the pictures to life in shades.On the eve of Christmas celebration,
students of Class I and II, KRM World School, Vaishali, participated in “Creating an Illustrative
Page” in which, they used Paint to add different shapes ranging from traditional to unusual
shapes, in a picture and created their own page.
