In its World Economic Outlook Update, IMF pegged the country's growth rate at 6.5% for 2016-17. According to global credit rating firm S&P, the size of global bonds issued by Indian companies could almost double to $ 25 billion within a few years from $ 14 billion in 2014, with a majority of them likely to take place after 2015.
