PROM 2015 Date: Time: Location: Fees: April 11, 2015 7:00 – 11:00 PM TBD Will be announced once location is confirmed Purpose of a High School Prom -to give the student an experience of a formal event which requires formal attire and proper etiquette- PROM REMINDERS Information Lead Out • Must be cleared of all debts • Includes Senior Fees • Can’t be suspended week of prom • Must be in school until 11:30 on Friday, April 10th • Age range is 9th grade up to 21. Dates from other schools will have their principal called for reference • Participants must attend practice • Only one person may be escorted at a time • No children allowed in lead out • Minimum age is 9th grade up to 21 • Boy-Girl lead out • Parents must leave after lead out Appropriate Behavior for Students and Dates will be expected! All students and dates will be required to meet and greet Dr. Wilkinson and administrators at the ticket table. • Police will be on hand to handle any inappropriate behavior or anyone suspected of drugs or alcohol. Prom Dress Code • All dresses and tuxedoes must be formal • Dresses are to be conservative and not revealing • No visible stomach or lower back • No camouflage attire or cowboy boots • No canes, hats, sunglasses • No facial piercings • Dress length no shorter than mid-thigh. • If dress is mid-thigh, slits no higher than 2 inches above hem line • Full-length dresses should not reveal the leg more than five inches above the knee Examples of “not appropriate” Dresses -Presented by Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Carr and Mrs. Gresko Stomach Visible Lower back Visible Examples of “not appropriate” Dresses -Presented by Mrs. Kelli, Mrs. Carr and Mrs. Gresko Slit too high Length too high Examples of “not appropriate” Dresses -Presented by Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Carr and Mrs. Gresko Camo is not formal Excessive Cleavage Examples of “not appropriate” Dresses -Presented by Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Carr and Mrs. Gresko Length too high Definitely Not Appropriate If you have a question or a concern about your prom dress, put it on or lay it out and take a picture of it.
