Bell Rd. #120, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Ph: (480) 699-1524 F: (480) 699-1657 dallas@firedrum.com www.firedrum.com Personal Background: I was born in Rochester Minnesota in 1986. At 4 years old, I began racing motocross in the summers, and playing hockey in the winters. I received my first computer at 12 years old, along with “A Dummies Guide to Hacking” which included a section on computer programming and various programming languages. At 14, I started my first online business specializing in Web Design and was able to create extremely barebones HTML websites for small locally owned businesses. When I was 15, I was invited to play for Team USA’s Under-15 national development team for the Great Canadian Exposure hockey tournament in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Unfortunately, 2-weeks before the tournament I crashed my motorcycle and broke both of my arms. Strangely with two broken arms, one of the only things I could do was type on the computer. The next 3-months were when I really became involved and passionate about web development. Unfortunately, going to college for computer sciences didn’t seem as attractive to me as getting my degree in music. I graduated from college in 2006 with a degree in audio engineering and went to work as a studio technician for various recording studios around Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was even able to work on the 2006 Mason Jennings release, “Boneclouds” which was nominated for a Grammy Award in the ‘Best New Artist’ category. In 2007, I opened my own recording studio and began to market it exclusively online through new digital marketing opportunities. The success I was having marketing my own business resulted in freelance opportunities marketing other local businesses. In 2011 I opened my 2nd online business, Five.Oh.Seven. Clothing. Leveraging social media and online advertising, we were able sell over 8,000 shirts through our eCommerce platform in our first year. In 2012 my girlfriend and I had our first son, Kingston. Around this same time I was offered part-ownership of a locally owned restaurant. Acting as the Director of Marketing using both traditional and online marketing in unison, I brought the restaurant into its first profitable quarter in over 3 years. By 2013, I was working myself to a point that my health was becoming a concern. I closed the recording studio, sold my share of the restaurant, and reduced my role with the clothing company. On June 1st, 2013 my girlfriend, Kingston, and myself moved to Phoenix as I pursued an opportunity with a marketing agency. In April of 2014 we welcomed our second son, Jackson, and in June of 2014 I accepted a role as Project Manager at FireDrum Internet Marketing. Business Background: Since 1999 FireDrum provides Reseller, Private Label, Managed and Do-It-Yourself email marketing.
