Welcome! We, the parish community of St. Michael Catholic
Church in Van Buren, Arkansas, know that we are part of the Body
of Christ. Our call is to make Christ present in our own lives and
the lives of those with whom we associate. We do this through
prayer, the celebration of the sacraments, religious education, and
the example of our lives of faith, hope, and love.

Indian Missions. Our financial contribution helps support Catholic American Indian communities on reservations, in rural

NFP Classes offered in Ft. Smith The Couple to Couple League (CCL) of Arkansas will offer a 3-part series of
classes in natural family planning (NFP) in the Ft. Smith area. The classes will meet at St. Boniface church on
Feb. 15, Mar. 15, and Apr. 19 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. These classes will Diocesan requirements for NFP classes
for those who are planning marriage. The fee is $151. which includes all materials. For more information, please

Card Collection: The Altar Society has taken up the project of collecting greeting cards (Christmas, birthday, etc.)
which are then sent to St. Jude’s Ranch where they are recycled into new useable cards. If you have a stack of cards
you are willing to donate, please give them to Barbara Doyle or Marilyn Boyd, or any member of the Altar Society.
Copyright laws prevent the use of cards by American Greeting, Disney, and Hallmark cards, but all others are welcome.

Free Concert at Subiaco Named AMA Band of the Year five times, Oreo Blue is one of the most respected and sought
after blues bands in the country. They have produced 6 CD’s that are sold in 20 different countries. The concert will be
opened by Subiaco’s own Jazz Ensemble. Oreo Blue is returning to the Academy for the fifth time. The public is invited
to attend this free concert on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at 7:45 p.m.
