Sri Sathya Sai Annual Sports and Cultural Meet is being held at Sathya
Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, from 26th Jan to 30th January 2015.The venue
of the inaugural function at 7.20 am on 26th January is Sri Sathya Sai
Samagamam Stadium. Nine educational campuses from across the state
of Karnataka are participating in this event
The purpose of the sports and cultural meet is to build self-confidence
and team spirit in the students; this is an integral part of charactermoulding education propounded by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This
leads to all round development of the students’ personalities.
Nine Educational campuses which are participating in the event are: Sri
Sathya Sai Educational Institutions at Alike and Muddenahalli, Sri Sathya
Sai Vidyaniketanam – Gulbarga, Sri Sathya Sai Sharadaniketanam –
Mandya, Sri Sathya Sai Divyaniketanam – Jayapura (Boys), Sri Sathya
Sai Sriniketanam – Jayapura (Girls), Sri Sathya Sai AnanadaniketanamMudhol, Sri Sathya Sai Centre for Human Excellence – Muddenahalli
and Prashanti Bala Mandira High School – Chikballapur (Girls’). The
total number of boys and girls studying in these institutions is about five
thousand.
