Understanding Your Child Takes Time Class 1: Understanding Yourself Class 2:Understanding Your Core Values & Beliefs Class 3:Understanding Your Child’s Identity Class 4:Understanding Effective Parenting January 25, 2015 Sermon Series - Shocking Statements of Jesus #5 Service 11:18 9 am Worship Youth—We will be meeting in the teen room at 6PM and be finished each night at 7:15PM. Our time will be spent hanging out together, getting into the Word, and having some fun! Encourage each other to be there! Invite a friend! ACTIVE TIME screen HANG TIME Children— Classes for children (nursery to 6th grade) are especially designed to teach about God’s love and how they can share time with God. This will include active role play, service projects, singing and praying, interactive stories, and hands-on activities. The adult class topic will be on parenting in today’s world. If this topic is not beneficial to you, please consider volunteering in the youth or children’s classes. Second Service Second Sunday Social February 8th after Service 11:18 we will meet in the Fellowship Hall for a potluck lunch. All are invited. Student Gatherings: Sunday AM, 10:15; 1st & 3rd Sundays, 5pm; Most gatherings are in the Teen Rm. We should live our lives in such a manner as to glorify and praise God. The Psalms are filled with reasons to live such a life, and appreciate all that God has done for us. Winterfest: Those going to Winterfest need to keep Friday, February 20th thru Sunday, February 22nd marked on the calendar! We will need to leave from the church building that Friday by 3pm in order to get to the opening session on time. Please see Tony ASAP if there will be any issues with our departure time. Balances are $50/person and are due the Sunday before Winterfest (2/15/15). This balance DOES NOT include your spending money for FOOD or for OBER GATLINBURG, so plan accordingly. Quarterly Missions Meeting There will be a quarterly missions ministry meeting today in the community room immediately after classes. All are invited to attend. The remaining items after the sale will be donated to Atlanta Inner -City Ministry. Please save your unwanted items to be donations. Firm Foundation Preschool Now Registering for Fall Registration forms in the foyer. Monthly classes for Timothy Boys and Esther Girls begins today. This is for grades 2 through 6.
