There will be a question and answer period following the tour. Food Safety Class: Food safety in grocery stores, home, and restaurants will be discussed. It’s Okay to Ask –Sexuality and Intimacy Drop-in Discussion: Helpful hints will be provided for coping with side effects that impact sexuality. Labyrinth Walk: Walking an ancient spiritual path helps promote relaxation, meditation, spiritual and personal healing and enrichment. Long Term Follow up Orientation: Provides life-long support to people who have had a hematopoietic cell transplant. Long Term Support for Patients and Caregivers after Transplantation (Caregivers Welcome) Provides peer support to LTFU participants. There is special emphasis on patients who have experienced chronic post-transplant medical and resource issues. Look Good Feel Better: A class sponsored by the American Cancer Society for women to come learn makeup and skin care practices while going through cancer treatment. A complimentary makeup kit is provided to each person. Managing Care at Home, Transition Class: (Transplant Patients Only) Includes an overview of the Bone Marrow Transplant Process, patient/caregiver roles, managing symptoms and recovery at home and phases of transplant.
