VAC AOD SERVICES are now accepting referrals for TRANSFORMED.
Expressions of interest are now open for a support group for trans and gender diverse people who would like to
better manage mental health, relationship stress and drug and alcohol use. Partners are also welcome.
Transformed is a FREE four week support group for trans and gender diverse people and is scheduled to start on
Wednesday April 15th and runs weekly from 6pm – 8pm.
We often ask our clients
Is anxiety impacting their sleep?
Is transitioning putting pressure on their relationship?
What does self-care mean to them?
Is their drug and alcohol use dragging them under?
If your client is trans or gender diverse and wants support, then maybe the Transformed group is for them? The
program is supported by qualified alcohol and other drug counselors, community health workers and will feature a
range of guest speakers and activities.
VAC are currently taking expression of interest, so call now on 03 9865 6700 to book your spot or email

The Mercy Campaign is a movement in support of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, two young
Australian men facing the death penalty in Indonesia. They have admitted trying to traffic drugs to
Australia.
They have exhausted their appeals. All that can save them is clemency from Indonesia’s President, Joko Widodo.
We are proud to declare, with the support of Andrew, Myuran and their families, that these two young men have
transformed their lives and helped others in the prison to do the same.
So far, more than 70,000 people have joined the Mercy Campaign community by petitioning for clemency at
mercycampaign.org. I am writing in order to ask you for your organisation’s help, starting with four simple steps:
Like the Mercy Campaign on Facebook and follow us on Twitter, and ask your supporters to do the same
Display the attached mercycampaign.org logo on your website, intranet and on social media with a link to
mercycampaign.org
Promote the Music for Mercy event - a concert organised to raise awareness and support for Andrew and Myuran.
To explore more ways to join the Mercy Campaign community and for any support with Mercy Campaign materials
