UNCLASSIFIED JOB SPECIFICATION Job Title (and Post/Dept): Regional Recruitment Manager – Regional Corporate Services Hub (RCSH), South Asia & Afghanistan Directorate (SAAD) Location: Start Date: British High Commission, New Delhi ASAP Grade: Length of contract: B3 (L) Permanent Main purpose of job: The Regional Recruitment Manager will effectively lead and manage a team of regional recruitment staff in the delivery of Recruitment of locally engaged staff working at British Embassies, High Commissions and other Offices located in the South Asia & Afghanistan Directorate. Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve: Service delivery Overall ownership of successful delivery of agreed SLAs/KPIs in Recruitment Delivery of HR PRISM Administration for new joinees in all posts in the region Stakeholder Management Ensure that very high engagement levels with all key customers (CSMs and Hiring Managers) are established and maintained to effectively understand and manage customised recruitment campaigns and other issues Set and manage expectations of Hiring Managers Team Management Engage, motivate and develop the 2 Recruitment Assistants to effectively deliver the recruitment requirements of the region To keep the team update on any policy developments and changes in order to create awareness within the team and effective delivery of policy guidance. Strategy/Process Improvement Identify, provide and implement innovations for a continually evolving, relevant and effective regionwise recruitment process Staff Database & MIS To ensure effective management of staff database on Prism, an oracle based software. Effective management of Recruitment MIS and ensuring an error free input for payroll processing on a monthly basis. What we do: The role of the Regional HR Hub is to provide key HR Services (recruitment, pay and reward, talent and performance management and HR enquiries) to customers across the region and to provide a strategic and professional HR capability to support Regional Senior Leaders in delivery of business of objectives. The HR hub forms an integral part of the global HR offer to staff working in the overseas network for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and will lead on all region specific HR issues in collaboration with the London based HR Directorate. The role reports to the Team Leader – Human Resources and will deliver through their HR hub team. Experience in team management Experience in a shared service environment is an advantage Articulate, level headed with very good customer service orientation Excellent IT skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Security Clearance Level required: As per office policy UNCLASSIFIED UNCLASSIFIED Starting Salary: For BHC candidates, the LE BHC Terms & Conditions will apply. For other than BHC candidates, Basic salary will be Rs. 38,805/- per month together with a 12% provident fund and 6% superannuation fund. We may, exceptionally, be able to show some flexibility on the starting salary depending upon the experience of the successful candidate.
