Spotlight Newsletter - Lyric Theatre Company
THE Editor: Pat Boera SPOTLIGHT Web Site: www.lyrictheatrevt.org · Email: Office@lyrictheatrevt.org EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE By Syndi Zook Happy New Year my friends! Lyric was as busy as ever over the holidays. Membership Chair Serena Magnan O’Connell once again organized Holiday Caroling on the Church Street Marketplace, spreading joy and laughter. Lots of laughter! Nick Caycedo and Ashley O’Brien created and directed a wonderful show for the Lyric Winter Cabaret Ensemble. All three First Night shows were packed and the Ensemble followed up by singing at the Vermont 50+ and Boomer Expo to over 500 audience members. The show was terrific and highlighted many songs from upcoming Lyric shows. Speaking of upcoming shows, the Lyric cast and crew members are hard at work on Legally Blonde: the Musical. On January 10th, over 14 doggies came to audition for the two canine roles in the show. Joey and Enzo have joined the cast in the roles of “Bruiser” and “Rufus.” Now is the time to get tickets for the show. Good seats are going fast, opening night is close to full and you will not want to miss this fun and funny show. Go now to: www.FlynnTix.org. And in case you missed it, here is the link to a wonderful article about the “Doggie Auditions” from The Burlington Free Press! http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/local/2015/0 1/10/dog-auditions-legally-blondechihuahua/21561537/?utm_medium=%5B%27twitter%27%5 D&utm_source=%5B%27dlvr.it%27%5D SPONSORS SO GOOD YOU’LL EAT THEM UP!
