Lifting and transporting equipment www.Liftra.com Liftra Self-Hoisting Crane lifting gearbox Blade Dragon installing blade vertically Main Shaft Fixture Siemens 2.3MW Introduction Liftra is a Danish engineering and production company founded in 2003. Liftra is specialized in developing and producing lifting- and transportation equipment for the wind turbine industry. With experience from more than 500 projects, Liftra embraces the full cycle of the wind turbine, and supplies to major players in the wind industry. Liftra’s vision is to continually set new standards for lifting and handling of the wind turbine parts, and by doing that, lower the cost of energy. All are developed and produced for a wide range of turbine parts and manufacturers. In order to ensure our customers a short lead time, we have storage space in the US, Europe, and China containing our high demand products. Each Liftra project is unique and developed for a specific customer or task. Projects may be initiated based on an idea, or based upon necessity, whether during development or through delivery. Liftra also performs structural analysis, certification, and production of previously developed designs. Only one 40 foot container is needed for transportation of the Liftra Self-Hoisting Crane, for installation and replacement of a gearbox or generator. Liftra Self-Hoisting Crane is lifted from container to nacelle using its own lifting wire Crane, just below Jib, ready for installation on base Compatibility: We manufacture multiple crane bases that can be interchanged to replace gearboxes on the following turbines: • • • • • • Siemens 2,3MW NEG Micon/Vestas NM72, NM82, V82 Suzlon S88 Vestas V80 Nordex 2,5MW Platform GE 1.5MW Liftra Self-Hoisting Cranes can be designed for use on Exchange of main shaft fixture all turbines with a removable roof. Advantages of the Liftra Self-Hoisting Crane: • Significantly reduces mobilization costs • Operation in higher wind velocities (Up to 18m/s) Gearbox Installation Generator exchange Nacelle maintenance without the use of mobile crane Rotor Installation Main Shaft Fixture LT998-1 Rotor Yoke lifting a gearbox Save time Eliminates the cost of lowering a rotor Reduces risks Functions in higher wind speeds Fixture is assembled within nacelle Ejector system pushes gearbox off main-shaft A main shaft fixture can be assembled by the internal turbine hoist without the need for an external main crane, and without dismantling the rotor. The main crane capacity is significantly lower since it eliminates the rotor which is commonly the heaviest lift. All fixtures have an ejector system that pushes off the gearbox with up to 30 tons of force. Liftra has a growing selection of more than 10 different main shaft fixtures. For additional information please contact us. For all the Liftra Main Shaft Fixtures: Main Shaft Fixtures RePower/Senvion MM82 & NM92 (2,0MW) Siemens 2.3MW GE Energy 1.5 MW Vestas and NEG Micon NM64c-72-82/1500 and NM72/1650 & V82 Vestas and NEG Micon NM48/750KW and NM52/900KW Suzlon S88 (2,1MW) The fixture is delivered in a transport box and includes ejector system, fitting, and custom tools. This ensures that all parts needed for replacement of the gearbox is in a single unit - minimizing down time on site. The transport box is weather proof and can be locked. Major Component Replacement One of the services that Liftra provides is the replacement of major components, such as gearboxes, generators, main-shafts, and rotors utilizing the Liftra Self-Hoisting Crane. Spare parts for various Liftra Products and Projects Gearbox exchange using Liftra Self-Hoisting Crane Main Shaft Fixture installed and ready for installation of new gearbox Gearbox exchange Tower Stacking Frames Each set consists of four support feet, two frames and ladders. Using a fork lift, two feet are assembled on the top tower section, and ladders are subsequently mounted. The bottom section is mounted with feet and frames then lifted to the NEW! Our LT532-4 Stacking frame for stacking of tower sections from 4 - 5m and up to 100ton. stacking destination on the ship. Following this, the top section will be lifted and joined with the bottom section. This allows for safe and easy transportation of the tower section. • Save $350,000-$650,000 per Shipment • Available for rent • Minimize space requirements • Tower flange diameter 2.3 - 4.6m (5m) • Up to 100 ton / Tower Section • Fast assembly • In use since 2005 • DNV approval LT532-3 Stacking set, assembled on the ship LT532-1 Stacking Set lashed to ship LT532-3 stacking system packed in 40¨ container LT532-2 feets and ladders installed on tower, ready to lift to ship LT532-3 towers are stacked, using Tower Stacking Frames, ready for transport LT532-3 Stacking set with lashing LT532-1 lifting a tower to ship, ready for stacking of top section LT985-1 LT986-1 LT985/LT986 Lifting yokes for Jacket LT987 Lifting yoke for 760ton Jacket Assembly supports Offshore Liftra has been part of the offshore turbine industry for over a decade.
