 HUNTER EDUCATION CLASSES are being held at the Tacoma Sportsman’s Club on March 21, April 11, and May
9 from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information call 253-315-2046.
 FOURTH
ANNUAL FLEET FEET MATTERHORN MADNESS 5K RUN is June 27, 9:30 a.m. The certified 5K
course is completely inside the Swiss Park, Bonney Lake, WA, mostly on trails in the woods. Pre-registration includes gate fee, bratwurst dinner, free camping all weekend and entry in the raffle.

FEED & DANCE sponsored by the SSCT. Dinner both nights
will be served from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.. This event has ADVANCED reserved seating ONLY and
tickets will have table numbers assigned.
Dancing follows to Idol Eyez Band.
Dinner cost $35.00 per person. Please

SATURDAY, MAY 9, 2015: SWISS LADIES’ MOTHER DAY & DAUGHTER TEA
LUNCHEON and Meeting, 12:00 Noon, sponsored by SLS. Lunch and tea will be served
followed by a short meeting. Please bring a
teacup for yourself and your guest. Reservations are required by May 1st. Please call any
SLS board member listed on Page #3 to reserve your place
today!

20, 2015, 9:00 a.m. SSCT WORK PARTIES.
This is an all-hands on deck call to SSCT members to join us in sprucing up the park after the
winter weather season. Lunch will be served
after the work is done each day.
SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 2015: SPRING
SCHWINGFEST sponsored by the
SSCT. Cost is $12.00, including dinner
and dance—No refunds. Children 12 and
under are free. Gate opens at 10:00 a.m.
and Schwinger registration starts at 11:00
a.m., followed by competition beginning
at noon for all wrestlers. Steinstossen competition follows. The
bar will be open at 10:45 a.m. and the kitchen will open at 12:00
noon. The evening dance begins at 7:30 p.m. The Award Ceremony for the Schwingers begins about 10:30 p.m. The Kitchen
closes at 8:00 p.m. and the Bar at 1:00 a.m.
SUNDAY, JUNE 28, 2015: SSCT MEMBERS SHOTGUN SHOOT sponsored by the SSCT. You must be an
SSCT, or associated Swiss Club, member to compete for
medals. There is no fee to enter the park. Medal shoots
will be held for Class A, B, and C as well as the competition Buddy Shoot in honor of Martin Holdener. In this
shoot you choose your partner who must be of your immediate
family (i.e., Father, Son, Daughter, 1st Cousin, In-law). All of
the medals awarded are made in Switzerland.

17th ANNUAL KIDS SWISS
KAMP: Wednesday thru Sunday, July 22-26, 2015. For children ages 8 to 14 inclusive. The
purpose of the Kamp is to teach
our young people the culture and
traditions of Switzerland and
learn about their ethnic heritage. Kamp begins Wednesday
night at 6:00 p.m. (please feed your child dinner on
Wednesday, July 22th). Your child will be staying overnight Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Classes are held all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and
Sunday morning. On Sunday, at about 2:00 p.m. in the
afternoon, we will have a special parade and program to
celebrate “SWISS INDEPENDENCE DAY” also called
Bundesfere. Your child will participate in producing this
celebration, and everyone is invited to join us. PLEASE
ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILDREN IN THEIR
LEARNING AND BRING YOUR ENTIRE EXTENDED FAMILY OUT FOR AN AFTERNOON
FULL OF SWISS ENTERTAINMENT, FOOD AND
FUN. Following the parade and program, the SLS and
SRS will be in the kitchen with hamburgers/hotdogs and
other goodies to eat, the SSCT will open the bar, and there
will be games to play for both adults and children. During Kamp your child will be introduced to Swiss History,
theater, Swiss language, music, instruments, wood working, sports, flag throwing, handiwork, painting, Swiss
games, dancing as well as baking, cooking and eating
Swiss foods! Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided
Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and breakfast and lunch
will be provided on Sunday. Space for your child will be
by reservation only, please complete the reservation form
found on page 4 of this flyer. The maximum number of
children able to participate is 60. The total cost for Kamp
is $25.00 for each kid. We will supply all of your child’s
entertainment needs! We will provide an adult for every
five children and a trained staff will be available to assist
with medical needs. If you would like to help—please call

Your child needs to bring the following items only!
ABSOLUTELY NO HAIRDRYERS, CURLING IRONS, AIR
MATTRESSES OR TOYS!
Sleeping bag, pillow and foam mattress
Towel and personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc.,
Underwear and socks for four days, and pajamas
Jeans and shorts
Long and short sleeved shirts
Sweatshirt and jacket
Tennis shoes, flip-flops/sandals

FIRT OF AUGUST “BUNDESFERE”—Sunday, July 26,

will open following the Kids Kamp program (about 3:30 p.m.).
There is no cost to enter the park, so come on up and enjoy a
wonderful afternoon and encourage our Kids Kamp kids (and
the volunteers) and support the SRS.
THE BARTENDER CLASS IS NOW ON-LINE: To apply
for, or renew, your bartender license, please go on-line to
http://liq.wa.gov/licensing/mast-permits, and select either Apply For A License, or Renew Your License. The SSCT will
reimburse the license fee after they bartend a couple events.
