Pro8 – 200™ contains 8 strains of beneficial probiotic micro-organisms to assist in maintaining or improving your
general wellbeing.
This high potency, multistrain probiotic supports healthy immune function and may assist in alleviating symptoms associated with
intestinal flora imbalance such as diarrhoea and constipation.
By stabilising and maintaining the beneficial microflora of the gut, Pro8 200™ may assist in the management and relief of medically
diagnosed IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).
The use of probiotics has been clinically shown to treat conditions where the micro-ecology of the gastrointestinal tract was disturbed
by changes in the environment (e.g. traveller’s diarrhoea) or by oral antimicrobial therapy (e.g. antibiotic-associated diarrhoea).

Directions for use:
Adults, take 2 capsules daily, with meals, or as directed by your healthcare professional. If diarrhoea persists for more
than 6 hours in infants under 6 months – 12 hours in children under 3 years – 24 hours in children aged 3–6 years or 48
hours in adults and children over 6 years – seek medical advice. Drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist consult your
healthcare practitioner.

What are the Pro8TM capsules made of?
The capsules are made of hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose (HPMC) which is 100%
vegetable cellulose and suitable for vegetarians.
When is the best time of day to take Pro8 200TM?
Ideally, probiotics should be taken with or just prior to a meal containing some
fats. Recent studies suggest that the survival of the bacteria is linked with the
fat content more than protein. Probiotics given 30 minutes after a meal do not
survive in as high numbers.
How long can I consume Pro8 200TM?
The length of time depends on the specific reason for which the probiotic has
been recommended. Therefore, it is important to consult with your healthcare
practitioner as to the duration of time Pro8 200TM may be taken.
How long will Pro8 200TM keep before expiring?
If stored under refrigeration (3-8°C), Pro8 200TM is guaranteed through to the
‘Expiry Date’ on the label.
What happens if Pro8 200TM products are left at room temperature?
Pro8 200TM can be stored at room temperature, approximately 25°C for up to four
weeks without having a major effect on potency. If it is left at room temperature
for long periods of time or exposed to excessive heat, the number of beneficial
bacteria can greatly reduce.
Are Pro8 200TM probiotics Kosher or Halal certified?
Yes. Pro8 200TM products are both Kosher and Halal certified.
What if I experience bloating symptoms?
Mild bloating may occur during the first few days after starting to use. This is
usually due to the changing intestinal micro flora. If you experience bloating,
you may need to reduce your daily intake to allow this adjustment. If diarrhoea
persists for more than 6 hours in infants under 6 months – 12 hours in children
under 3 years – 24 hours in children aged 3–6 years or 48 hours in adults and
children over 6 years – seek medical advice. Drink plenty of water. If symptoms

Pro8 200TM is believed to be compatible with most types of drugs, always consult
your doctor regarding medications and interactions. If taken with antibiotics,
Pro8 should be consumed away from antibiotic doses thereby maximizing the
probiotic effect.
