International Journal of Medicinal Chemistry Special Issue on
International Journal of Medicinal Chemistry Special Issue on Computational Chemistry in Drug Discovery and Development CALL FOR PAPERS Computers become indispensable in every aspect of today’s life. Technological advancement in this field has made simulation and prediction, using huge set of data, close to reality within reasonable time frame. Application of this approach to “Drug Discovery and Development” pipeline provided success in reducing the duration of discovery process with significant reduction in investment. Yet the number of success stories is dearer than expected. This may be attributed to the approximations in defining complex biological system due to currently available computational power and resources. This provides a continuous challenge to the scientific community to come out with the better hardware as well as software tools to meet the challenges. Lead Guest Editor Venkatesan Jayaprakash, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Jharkhand, India venkatesanj@bitmesra.ac.in The special issue is devoted to reviewing computational approaches that are continuously evolving in the area of drug development. Authors are invited to submit full length original articles, reviews, and clinical studies to this special issue.
