Continuous power is defined as being the maximum power which the generating set is capable of delivering continuously
whilst supplying a constant electrical load when operated for an unlimited number of hours per year under the agreed
operating conditions with the maintenance intervals and procedures being carried out as prescribed by the manufacturer.

KVT Gas delivers

compact and reliable, for
use as standby, prime or

generation, as well as coand trigeneration CHP. They
also offer them engines for
variable speed applications
such as material handling
equipment. Available for use
with Natural gas, CNG,
LPG also Bio, syn gas and
other process gases. KVT
uses specially designed
components
to make the engine much
more structurally robust than
any other conventional
spark ignition
engine. The combustion
chamber components are
designed to withstand high
cylinder temperatures and
peak pressures. This lowers
the stress levels resulting in
longer service life,
higher reliability and lower
maintenance costs.
STANDARD EQUIPMENTS
Base Frame:
- mechanically welded chassis
- w or w/o fluid recovery tank
- antivibration dampers
Engine:
- 4 stroke industrial water cooled, spark ignition engine;
- 1500 rpm with mechanical/electronical governor;
- heat-exchanger or radiator with drain tap;
- standard air filter;
- protective grille for fan and rotating parts.
Alternator:
- brushless syncrhonous alternator;
- single bearing;
- IP23 up to 145 kVA;
- overload acceptance: 10% for 1 hour;
- AVR 0.5%;
- insulation class H, temperature rise class F;
- 231/400 V, 50Hz;
Engine Control Panel:
- microprocessed electronic controller;
- built-in governor control;
- automatic speed control;
- manual speed control via push buttons, digital input
or analogue input;
- automatic speed ramping;
- remote panel for control and monitoring.
Generating Set:
- exhaust compensator with brackets or pipe;
- double walled fuel line with leakage device;
- closed crankcase ventilation;
- oil drainage pump;
- 15 dB(A) silencer supplied separately
- air fuel ratio control & actuator
- complete ignition kit
- ignition coils
- stop valve & fuel level transducer
