RECRUITMENT SUPERINTENDENT (2 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT) Location: Swakopmund Reports to the Recruitment Manager MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To co-ordinate the operations of Recruitment, Selection, Placement and Induction of Swakop Uranium (SU) employees by ensuring that proper procedures are followed in these processes, and that continued development and implementation of best practices that support the achievements of the Company’s goals and objectives are followed and adhered to. Key Performance Areas: Co-ordination of recruitment, selection and placement effectiveness whilst ensuring procedural fairness. Ensuring recruitment and selection adheres to complement and grades and are aligned to Swakop Uranium’s Affirmative Action Plan, HR strategy and other statutory requirements. Co-ordinates new employee induction and asset distribution. Conducts exit interviews and ensures return of company assets. Researches market trends and make appropriate recommendations to superiors. Conducts regular audits and surveys to check compliance of existing practices to policies, procedures and legislation. People and performance management. Professional/Personal development and growth. Co-worker effectiveness. Safety, Health, Environmental, Radiation and Quality effectiveness. Requirements and experience: Human Resources Diploma/Degree or equivalent qualification. 5 Years practical experience in an HR environment involving recruitment, selection and placement. 3 Years practical experience in a supervisory role or as an HR generalist practitioner. Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP. Experience in the mining industry is a distinct advantage. Code B Driver’s License.
