+ C HERMITAGE R-IV SCHOOL DAILY BULLETIN 3/6/15 TODAY’S LUNCH: Chicken Wraps, Fresh Carrots, Diced Pears, Rice Crispy Bar, Milk MONDAY’S BREAKFAST: Cereal, String Cheese, Fruit, Milk, Juice MONDAY’S LUNCH: Spaghetti, Broccoli, French Garlic Bread, Peaches STUDENT INFORMATION The Iron Man will be will be at the carnival Saturday, if you would like to purchase a pre-sell All-Night Ticket they are $10. You may get a form in the office or from Ms. Yowell. All FBLA members (ML & HS) please bring one or more items for our Sweet Walk Booth at Carnival on Saturday. Items may be brought in today. We accept all dessert items: cakes, pies, brownies, cookies, etc. Cake mix and icing are also still accepted. Members should sign up to work a shift. The sign-up sheet is on the FBLA bulletin board in the Business Room. Sophomores, please remember to bring in props for our photobooth and items for our comfy Cozy Basket. We need a few more workers to sign up to work. The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in Mrs. Salmon’s room. The Middle Level FBLA scheduled for today has been moved to Monday, March 9. It will still be during 6th hour in the Business Room. If you received a district basketball shirt and still need to pay for it, please see Mrs. Salmon. Shirts were $10.00 each with additional charges for 2x-4x. All FCCLA members turn in your unsold suckers and money to Mrs. Bishop by today. After today you will be charged. Monday, March 9, Reading hour will be 4th hour. Monday at 11:30, juniors and seniors are invited to the library to hear about College of the Ozarks. Next Thursday, March 12th, all sophomores will go to the Dallas County Career Center for a Skills Expo. The bus will leave around 8:15, so all sophomores can report to 1st hour for attendance and breakfast. Friday, March 13, the middle school students may dress as their favorite book character. Those who dress up can select a free book from RIF in the MS/HS Library. Friday, March 13, there will be no vo-tech. Any Juniors who are considering vo-tech for next year need to visit with Mrs. Shockley ASAP. Juniors start bringing in strands of white Christmas lights labeled with your name to Ms. Dablemont and give your song list ideas to Cheyanna J. Seniors Who plan to attend OTC next fall: Mrs. Shockley will be taking those students to the OTC Star Plus Seminar/Registration on Friday, March 27th. You MUST registrar yourself during the week of March 9-13th. See Mrs. Shockley for details. Seniors, please start bringing in your pictures for the graduation video. You may bring in 4 pictures to Mrs. Lampe due by March 23. You will also need to give Mrs. Lampe of how many flowers you want to hand out at graduation. Please let her know by March 13. The following juniors still need to return their fundraising contract (see Ms. Dablemont if you need another copy): Stone Allen, Sam Baldwin, Dakota Cahow, Robert Ideker, and Destiny Isles. “If the Contract is not returned, you are not eligible for Prom or Senior Trip” SCHOLARSHIPS: Seniors, please see Mrs. Shockley for hard-copies of local scholarships. Please complete these ASAP. There are hard copies found on the I Drive: go 1SchoolInfo, then to 2015Scholarships. The Bolivar Technical College Scholarship application is available now. If you are planning to attend Bolivar Technical College, you need to apply for this scholarship. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to Hermitage 2015 graduates that are planning to attend Bolivar Technical College. Hard copies available with Mrs. Shockley, digital copy is available on the (I) drive. The Missouri Bankers Scholarship Application is available to seniors planning to major in a field related to banking. It is due by March 13, 2015. MFA Foundation scholarship is now available. It is worth 2000.00 and it is due by March 16. Please see Mrs. Shockley for a copy. Knights of Columbus Scholarship is now available. The Hermitage Knights of Columbus will award one $500 scholarship annually, and is offered to senior students of all Hickory County schools. The deadline is March 31, 2015. The Veterans of Foreign Wars scholarship is now available. This is a $1000 scholarship that will go to one of our seniors. The due date is April 1st. Please see Mrs. Shockley for a hard copy. The Bank of Urbana Scholarship is now available. The scholarship will go to 1 Hermitage Senior, in the amount of $1500. It is due by April 28th. Please see Mrs. Shockley for a hard copy. The Mid-Missouri Credit Union Scholarship is now available. It is $1000 scholarship, due by May 9th. Similar to the ECCU scholarship, an account is required to apply for the scholarship.
