tours for all ages. Guided tours are fun and
interactive; exploring hands-on force and
motion activities with scientific observation in
the da Vinci exhibit and enjoy measurement
challenges with your group! We will send you
home with worksheets for kids 3rd – 6th grade and a
fun activity for younger ones, Preschool – 2nd grade!

Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world
over for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, has
invited his fellow cast members for a weekend of
revelry. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in
this glittering whodunit.

Summer Camp Kickoff
March 14, 2015 • 12 – 3 pm
Learn about camps and classes from around the
region at this free event! Summer Camp Kick Off
was created to help parents streamline their
summer camp planning for their children.
You may come to learn about pottery classes,
but also learn that another organization has
tennis lessons. It is a great one-stop shop.
June 11 – 14, 2015
Share adventures with Lilly and her friends
– and learn about the mysterious black holes in
Swiss cheese as taught by Lilly’s favorite teacher,
Mr. Slinger.
Performed by 4th, 5th & 6th graders. Appropriate
for all ages.

The arts and sciences are great ways to build
confidence, inspire creative thinking and
foster responsibility.
Art from the Heart is the Midland Center for the Arts Scholarship Fund,
designed to assist individuals in covering costs associated with
tuition-based classes, camps, educational programming and theatrical
or musical performances.
As an educator, you can be an advocate for those students who need
these kinds of activities. Please help us by identifying students who
could benefit from this program and refer them (or their parents) to
our assistance program. Applications can be found here.
This fund is made possible through special fundraiser ticket sales, the generosity of
individual donors and special grants from a variety of sources.

Mistaken identities of every shape and size
commence in this classic farce of Shakespearean
proportions! This production marks the 50th
anniversary of Peanut Gallery, our theatre
program for young people.
Performed by 13- to 21-year-olds. Appropriate for all
ages, but geared more to middle school & up.

make up the fun, interactive Hall of Ideas
designed especially for toddlers through grade
school students. This handicap-accessible space
traces the spiraling evolution of civilization in the
Great Lakes Bay Region. Advancing through each

formation and early inhabitants, and explore the
interconnection of science and art.

each month. Fridays are self-guided tour days;
onsite interpreters and activities on Saturdays.

(Half-day experience; this is the city-life portion
of the Root Cellar/Ice Box tour)
The 1874 Bradley Home is a hands-on
historic house museum offering a glimpse
of the everyday life of an early Midland
family. Learn about family dynamics,
luxuries and challenges, traditions and how
they compare to YOUR daily life. Includes a
tour of the adjacent Carriage House and
its amazing collection of horse-drawn carriages and sleighs.
